Lenovo Wired ANC Headset Gen 2 — Microsoft Teams Certified Stereo USB-C Headset
Certified for Microsoft TeamsReal active noise cancellationIn-line controls with ANC toggle32 mm drivers
The Lenovo Wired ANC Headset Gen 2 is a corded stereo office headset with genuine active noise cancellation — two of its three microphones exist purely to cancel what you hear, and there is a hardware ANC button on the in-line controller to switch it. It connects over USB-C with a USB-A converter in the box, and EPOS hearing protection is built in. Part number 4XD1M45627 is the Microsoft Teams certified build.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This headset is USB audio only. Lenovo publishes no 3.5 mm jack, so it will not plug into a desk phone headset port, a phone socket or an aircraft seat. The connector is USB-C and a USB-C to USB-A converter is supplied, so an older desktop is covered. The two part numbers in this family are otherwise identical — same 32 mm drivers, same three-microphone array, same cable, same weight, same box — and differ only in certification and therefore in what the Teams and hook button does. Order this one if your organisation runs Microsoft Teams. Tell us your platform and we will confirm before you commit to a fleet order.
Best For
✓ All-day desk calls with no battery to manage
✓ Open-plan offices where ANC genuinely matters
✓ Microsoft Teams estates
✓ Lenovo fleet rollouts that want a matched accessory
✓ Staff who want both ears covered
✓ Anyone who wants an ANC button rather than a software menu
Key Features
ANC for you, not only for your caller
Two of the three microphones are dedicated to active noise cancellation, and a hardware toggle on the in-line controller turns it on and off. This is listener-side ANC, not a marketing name for microphone noise reduction.
Controls where your hand already is
The in-line box carries volume up and down, the call and Teams button, mute with its own LED and the ANC toggle, so nothing needs a driver menu to reach.
Hearing protection built in
EPOS ActiveGard and an EU noise limiter cap sudden spikes, which matters when the headset is worn for a full shift. Drivers are 32 mm, rated 86 dBSPL at 1 mW, covering 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
Cable lengths that suit a desk
Lenovo publishes 60 cm from headset to the control box and 118 cm from the control box to the USB-C plug — about 1.78 m in total, so the controller sits near your collar rather than on the floor.

Singular Expert Insight
What makes this pair worth a look next to cheaper corded headsets is that the noise cancellation is on your side of the headset. Plenty of office headsets advertise noise cancellation and mean the microphone — helpful for the person you are calling, useless for you. Lenovo publishes two microphones dedicated to ANC and puts a physical button on the controller for it, which is the sign it is genuine. The only decision left is certification, and it costs nothing either way: pick the Teams article for a Teams estate, the UC article for anything else. See the comparable models in Office & VoIP Headsets, or Headphones if this is as much for listening as for calls.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want active noise cancellation without a battery to charge. You want the ANC on a physical button rather than in a settings panel. Your organisation standardises on Microsoft Teams.
Skip it if
You need to leave the desk during calls. You need a 3.5 mm or desk-phone connection. You only need microphone noise reduction and would rather spend less.
Also consider
4XD1M39029 is the identical headset in the UC and Zoom build. Dell Pro Plus WH5024 for 40 mm drivers and a three-microphone AI array. EPOS IMPACT 860T if you prefer controls on the headset rather than on the cable.
