Lenovo ThinkPad 12-inch Sleeve
Up to 12 inchesBlack neoprene250 gRetractable handleZip accessory pocket
More than a plain slip case. Lenovo builds this ThinkPad sleeve from neoprene with a soft-touch grey lining, adds a padded carry handle that retracts out of the way, and fits a zipped pocket for a charger or a mouse. It works as a slim standalone case or drops into a larger bag.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Sized by Lenovo for 12-inch notebooks. The datasheet figure is 315 x 220 x 21.5 mm. Distributor listings pair this size with Lenovo education machines such as the 300e and 300e Chromebook, which sit in the same footprint. Check your machine against the datasheet figure.
Best For
✓ ThinkPad users who want a matching sleeve with a handle
✓ Carrying a 12-inch laptop from desk to meeting room
✓ Anyone who needs somewhere for a charger without a full bag
Key Features
Integrated retractable carry handle
A padded handle pulls out for carrying and pushes back in when the sleeve goes into a rucksack, so nothing snags.
Zip pocket for accessories
A separate zipped section takes a charger, a mouse or cables, which a plain sleeve cannot do.
Black neoprene with grey lining
Lenovo specifies a neoprene exterior and a soft-touch grey interior lining, so the surface against the laptop lid does not mark it.
Light 250 g weight
A sleeve with a handle and a pocket that still stays light enough for everyday carry.
Padded on both faces
Protection against scratches, dust and bumps, whether the sleeve is carried on its own or packed inside a larger bag.
One of four sizes in the range
Lenovo offers 12, 13, 14 and 15-inch versions of the same sleeve, so the fit follows the machine rather than a one-size-fits-most cut.

Singular Expert Insight
Two things worth correcting about this range, because distributor data gets them wrong. First, these are not plain slip sleeves. Lenovo's own datasheet, which covers all four sizes in one document, specifies an integrated retractable padded carry handle and a zip accessory pocket — features that several major distributor spec tables leave out entirely, listing only a wrist strap or nothing at all. Second, the material. Lenovo says neoprene with a soft-touch grey lining; the distributor channel overwhelmingly says 100 percent polyester and one large retailer says nylon. We publish Lenovo's figure with the others named. On the warranty, Lenovo's datasheet says Limited Lifetime, and we have not found any Targus page naming these Lenovo part numbers, so we do not attribute the administration to Targus. Compare it against the rest of our laptop cases if you want pockets and a strap instead.
