Lenovo ThinkVision MC60 — Monitor Webcam, Long Stand
1080p at 30 fpsCableless USB-AIR and RGB dual cameraAnti-theft key
The ThinkVision MC60 is built to live on a Lenovo monitor and nothing else. It plugs straight into the display’s USB port with no cable at all, carries an IR and RGB dual camera on a 1/2.9 inch sensor, has two microphones with a three-position hardware switch, an integrated privacy shutter and an anti-theft lock with its own key. This is the long-stand version.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the part to get right: the MC60 and the MC60 (S) fit different monitors and are not interchangeable. Lenovo publishes a compatibility list, and this long-stand 4XC1J05150 covers the P24Q-40, P27h-30, P27q-30, P27Q-40, P32p-30, P32pz-30, P34WD-40, P40WD-40, T24-40, T24d-30, T27-40, T27h-30, T27p-30, T27Q-40, T27UD-40, T32h-30, T32p-30, T32UD-40, T34WD-40 and their siblings. The short-stand MC60 (S) 4XC1K97399 covers only the P24h-30, P25i-30, P49w-30 and T34w-30. Order by monitor model, not by name — and tell us your monitor and we will check it. Two more points: it is cableless USB-A, so it cannot be used on a laptop or on a display that is not on the list; and although the camera is an IR and RGB dual unit, Lenovo does not publish Windows Hello support for it. Note also that Lenovo’s own two rows give the field of view as 95 degrees in the spec table and as switchable 65, 78 and 90 in the overview.
Best For
✓ Lenovo ThinkVision monitor estates that need a camera on every screen
✓ Shared and hot-desked workstations — the anti-theft key matters
✓ Meeting rooms where a hardware microphone switch is wanted
✓ Desks that should have no extra cables on them
✓ Microsoft Teams desks
Key Features
No cable at all
It plugs directly into the monitor’s USB port. There is nothing to route, nothing to trap in the stand and nothing to unplug by accident — Lenovo calls it clutter-free installation, and on a clean desk it is exactly that.
A microphone switch you can see
Two built-in microphones with a physical three-position switch: Private blocks noise outside 60 degrees using beamforming and noise cancellation, Conference uses noise cancellation alone, and Off cuts the microphones electrically.
AI framing and light correction
Smart Face Framing keeps you centred, with zoom, lighting correction and anti-flicker handled in the camera. Autofocus and tilt through 25 degrees up and down.
Shutter and a lock with a key
An integrated privacy shutter covers the lens, and an anti-theft lock with a key in the box secures the camera to the monitor — aimed at shared and public-facing desks.

Singular Expert Insight
Most webcams are accessories that happen to sit on a monitor; this one is designed around the monitor and everything follows from that — a stand sized to a specific bezel, no cable at all, a lock with a key, a hardware microphone switch. In a ThinkVision estate that is the tidiest answer there is, and the three-year CRU warranty makes replacement painless. Two things to settle before ordering: the stand length, which is not a preference but a fitment, and whether you need Windows Hello, which Lenovo does not publish here. If the camera has to move between machines, a clip-on desk webcam is the easier life.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You are fitting cameras to Lenovo ThinkVision monitors on the long-stand list and want no cables, a lock and a hardware mic switch.
Skip it if
Skip it if your monitor is not on the list, if the camera must clip to a laptop, or if you need published Windows Hello support.
Also consider
Lenovo ThinkVision MC60 (S) 4XC1K97399 for the short-stand monitors, or the Lenovo QHD Webcam if you want a clip-on camera instead.
