Lenovo ThinkVision T34WD-40 — 34" Curved WQHD USB-C Monitor, 120Hz, 100W Charging
34" curved 1500R · 21:93440 x 1440 · 120HzUSB-C · 100W PDRJ45 + USB hub
The Lenovo ThinkVision T34WD-40 is a 34-inch curved ultrawide VA monitor with 3440 x 1440 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and a USB-C connection that delivers video, data, Gigabit Ethernet and up to 100W of laptop charging over one cable.
The 21:9 format gives the width of two monitors without a centre bezel, and the 1500R curve keeps the edges comfortably in view. 3000:1 contrast, 99% sRGB, HDR10 support and TÜV Eye Comfort 5-star certification round out a strong business package.
Before you order: The stand adjusts height, tilt and swivel but does not pivot. There are no built-in speakers (optional Lenovo MS30 soundbar). For video over USB-C, the laptop's port must support DisplayPort Alt Mode; 100W charging requires a compatible device.
What's in the Box
- Lenovo ThinkVision T34WD-40 monitor with stand
- DisplayPort 1.4 cable (1.8 m)
- USB-C to USB-C cable (1.8 m)
- Power cable (1.8 m) — the power supply is built in
- Quick setup guide
What It Means in Practice
- One USB-C cable handles screen, up to 100W charging, Gigabit Ethernet and the USB hub (3x USB-A, 1x USB-C downstream).
- 120Hz works on all inputs, including HDMI 2.1 at 3440 x 1440 — smoother scrolling for work and good casual gaming.
- At 3440 x 1440, text looks as sharp as on a 27" QHD screen, with 34% more width.
- The stand lifts 155mm, tilts -5° to 23.5° and swivels ±45°.
- Windows Dynamic Refresh Rate and HDMI 2.1 VRR are supported (48–120Hz).
What Will Not Work
- No speakers, webcam (webcam bundles are different part numbers) or KVM.
- No pivot to portrait — not practical with an ultrawide anyway.
- HDR10 is accepted, but at 300 cd/m² without DisplayHDR certification the effect is limited.
- Some older games and videos show black bars on a 21:9 screen.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will 100W charge my laptop?
Yes for virtually all business laptops; some high-power workstations may still need their own charger under full load.
Is it good for gaming?
For casual gaming, yes — 120Hz, VRR and a curved ultrawide view. It is not a dedicated esports monitor.
Can I connect a desktop and a laptop?
Yes: laptop on USB-C, desktop on HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort, switching inputs from the menu.
