Gigabit Copper-to-SFP Conversion

Bridge copper Ethernet to a Gigabit fibre route while choosing the optical module for the installation. GVT-2000 combines 10/100/1000Base-T RJ45 with a 1000Base-X SFP slot. This unmanaged converter offers local DIP controls and Smart LFP monitoring, and can operate standalone or in a compatible CHV-2000 chassis.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Choose a compatible 1000Base-X Gigabit SFP and match its wavelength, fibre type, connectors and optical budget at both ends. The package list does not include an SFP. This converter does not provide PoE.

The open Gigabit SFP slot allows single-mode or multimode optics. Wavelength, connectors and reach follow the selected module.
 
Local link controls
DIP switch1 controls LFP and switch2 flow control. Smart LFP helps expose link faults across the conversion point.
 
Simple Gigabit installation
A power adapter is included for standalone operation. The converter supports 9 kB jumbo frames and defaults to store-and-forward.

Can it power an Ethernet device?
No. PoE is not supported; power the connected device separately.
