The LevelOne POR-0101 is an indoor PoE+ repeater that forwards both data and IEEE 802.3af/at power for another 100 m. Placed at the end of a 100 m run, it lets you install a camera or wireless access point up to 200 m from the PoE switch without a power socket at the mid-point.
It draws its own power from the incoming PoE and needs no configuration. The output port serves PoE devices and also passes data to non-PoE devices. Data runs at 10/100 Mbps, and LEDs show Power, PoE In and PoE Out.
Before you order: This is a Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) repeater and LevelOne lists it as not cascadable — use one unit per run. For Gigabit links or longer chains, choose a Gigabit extender.
