CVH-2000 14-Slot Media Converter Chassis
14 slots19″ rackDual ACHot-swap
The LevelOne CVH-2000 is a 14-slot media converter chassis: a 19″ rack-mount enclosure that gathers up to fourteen LevelOne fibre-to-copper media converters in one place and powers them centrally. It has dual AC power inputs for redundancy, so if one feed drops the second keeps the converters running, and each converter module can be swapped while the chassis stays on. LevelOne lists the FVT-2001, FVT-2002, FVT-2201, FVT-2202 and FVT-2401 Fast Ethernet converters and the GVT-2000, GVT-2001, GVT-2002, GVT-2003, GVT-2011 and GVT-2051 Gigabit converters. In practice it replaces a shelf of loose converters and power adapters in a server room or telecom cabinet.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Only for the LevelOne converters listed. Other brands’ media converters, and LevelOne models not on the list, are not covered. The converters themselves are not included — the chassis ships empty. LevelOne lists a power cord in the box; tell us if you need a second cord for the redundant input. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.

Singular Expert Insight
A converter chassis turns a tangle of adapters into one tidy shelf, and the redundant power input removes a single point of failure. Label each slot with the fibre it serves. For switches, see our network switches.
