The LevelOne FEP-0511 is a compact, unmanaged Fast Ethernet switch built to power and connect a small group of PoE devices. Four of its five 10/100Mbps ports supply PoE and PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at) from a shared 65W budget, running IP cameras, VoIP phones and access points over a single cable. The fifth port acts as an uplink to your router or main switch. It is completely plug-and-play, silent and fanless, and fits neatly on a desk or wall.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Powers standard PoE and PoE+ devices (802.3af/at) on the four PoE ports and connects any 10/100 Ethernet device. Non-PoE equipment works normally; the switch supplies power only to devices that request it.
