The LevelOne USB-0410 is a USB-C to 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter that adds a 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M RJ-45 port to laptops and desktops via USB 3.2 Gen 2x2, ideal for fast access to 10G NAS storage, video editing shares and Multi-Gig office networks. Part number USB-0410 is the grey aluminium-style adapter with a detachable USB-C cable.
It is bus-powered from the USB-C port, auto-negotiates the link speed and cable polarity (auto MDI/MDIX), and supports jumbo frames up to 16 KB, Energy Efficient Ethernet and Wake-on-LAN.
Compatibility note: Full 10 Gbps needs a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (20 Gbps) USB-C port. Many laptops, including most Thunderbolt/USB4 ports, only offer USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) for USB devices, so real throughput will be lower than 10G there. The switch or NAS on the other side must also support Multi-Gig/10GBASE-T to go beyond 1 Gbps.
