LevelOne HVE-9200P HDBaseT HDMI over Cat5e/6 Extender Kit with PoE, 4K2K/1080p up to 100 m, IR and RS-232

The LevelOne HVE-9200P is an HDBaseT HDMI extender kit with 802.3af PoE — transmitter HVE-9211PT plus receiver HVE-9211PR — that sends HDMI video, multichannel audio, IR and RS-232 over one Cat5e or Cat6 cable up to 100 m and powers the receiver through the same cable.

Only the transmitter needs a mains socket: its 12 V 2 A adapter feeds the receiver over the Cat cable, which makes it the practical choice behind wall-mounted screens and ceiling projectors where there is no socket nearby.

• Mount the receiver behind the display or near the projector and run just one Cat cable — no extra socket or adapter at that end.
• IR extension lets you use the source remote from the display side; RS-232 carries control commands for projectors and displays.
• EDID handling selects a resolution the display supports, so the picture comes up without manual setup.
• The receiver also has a DC jack if you ever prefer local power.

• The PoE output is meant for the HVE-9211PR receiver — do not use it to power cameras, access points or other PoE devices.
• No 4K at 60 Hz — the maximum is 3840 × 2160 at 30 Hz.
• Not for use through a network switch — HDBaseT needs a direct point-to-point Cat cable run.
• LevelOne does not publish an Ethernet/LAN pass-through for this series, so do not plan network connectivity over the same cable.
