LevelOne HVE-9211PR — HDBaseT HDMI over Cat.5 PoE Receiver, up to 100 m
The LevelOne HVE-9211PR is an HDBaseT HDMI receiver that takes the signal from a LevelOne HDBaseT transmitter over a single Cat.5e/6 cable and outputs HDMI to a display up to 100 m away. It supports video up to 3840x2160 (4K x 2K) at 30Hz with 3D and CEC pass-through, premium surround formats (Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital Plus), and carries bidirectional IR and RS-232 control.
The “P” in the model means it is the PoE-powered receiver: LevelOne lists no power supply in the box, so it is meant to be powered over the HDBaseT cable by a PoE-capable LevelOne transmitter. It is typically used to add or replace the screen end of digital signage and exhibition installs built on LevelOne HDBaseT transmitters such as the HVE-92xx series.

What It Means in Practice
- Plug the HDBaseT Cat cable from the transmitter into the receiver and HDMI into the display — EDID management and hot-plug detection handle the handshake.
- IR lets you use the source’s remote at the screen; RS-232 lets a control system send commands to the display.
- Use solid-core Cat.5e/6 cable in one continuous run for the full 100 m.

- Does not work on its own — a LevelOne HDBaseT transmitter is required.
- No power supply included.
- No 4K/60Hz — up to 4K at 30Hz.
