LevelOne KVM-0290 2-Port HDMI USB Cable KVM Switch
HDMI 1.3a · 1920 x 1200Integrated 1.2 m cablesUSB bus poweredHotkeys + auto-scan
The LevelOne KVM-0290 is a compact 2-port HDMI cable KVM switch that lets two computers share one HDMI monitor and a USB keyboard and mouse, with resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz. Its HDMI and USB cables are built in (1.2 m each), it draws power from USB, and part number KVM-0290 passes HD audio through the HDMI signal to the display.
Compatibility note: The cables are fixed at 1.2 m, so both computers must sit within reach of the switch. There are no separate 3.5 mm audio or microphone jacks: sound travels over HDMI to the monitor or its speakers. Hotkey switching (Scroll Lock) is documented for Windows; on macOS and Linux use the push button.
Key Features
Cable KVM, no extra purchases
HDMI male and USB-A plugs are moulded onto 1.2 m leads, so the box works out of the packet without buying KVM cable kits.
Three ways to switch
Use the push button, Scroll Lock hotkeys, or a 10-second auto-scan that cycles between the two computers for monitoring.
Tiny and bus powered
At 65 x 85 x 25 mm and 330 g it sits behind a monitor, and it takes power from the USB ports, so no adapter is needed.

Singular Expert Insight
The KVM-0290 is the no-fuss option for two Full HD computers on one small desk: everything is in the box and nothing needs a mains socket. It is not the right pick for 4K screens or for users who rely on separate speakers and microphones; see the rest of our KVM switch range for those.
✓ Buy it if you want a plug-in-and-go switch for two nearby Full HD computers.
✕ Skip it if you run a 1440p or 4K monitor, or need analogue audio and mic switching.
