Compatibility — check before buying:
The PFE-1014R is a receiver and is intended to operate as part of LevelOne's hybrid fiber PoE extender system. It requires a compatible transmitter and suitable hybrid fiber/copper cable. The maximum PoE power available at the remote end depends on the transmitter, cable conductor gauge and link distance, so do not size a high-power PoE installation from the receiver specification alone.

Standard copper Ethernet is not the right transport for a camera site hundreds of metres away, while this system sends data over multimode fiber and power over copper conductors within the same hybrid cable.
