The LevelOne POW-4821 is a 48 V DC industrial power supply for a 35 mm DIN rail, rated 1.6 A (76.8 W) in LevelOne’s 75 W class. It accepts a universal 90–264 V AC or 127–370 V DC input, cools by free-air convection without a fan, and has short-circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature protection. The output is adjustable from 48 to 55 V, which is why LevelOne names it for powering PoE switches, injectors and telecom equipment. It works from −20 to +60 °C. In practice it is the supply that feeds a small industrial PoE switch in a cabinet.

Compatibility — check before buying:
75 W total is the limit for everything connected. A PoE switch passes most of this power to its cameras or APs, so add up the devices before choosing; for larger PoE budgets LevelOne offers the POW-4851 (48 V, 240 W).
