The LevelOne XEL-0891 is a compact 8-port Layer 3 managed 10 Gigabit switch with 4× 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G RJ-45 ports and 4× 1G/2.5G/10G SFP+ ports in a fanless desktop case, ideal for studios, small offices and home labs that need silent 10G. Part number XEL-0891 is the grey desktop/wall-mount version with external power adapter.
A 160 Gbps non-blocking fabric runs all eight ports at wire speed, and the same L3 software as the larger XEL-1291 adds static and dynamic routing (RIP, OSPF v2, BGP-4), 4K VLANs, ACLs and 802.1X security.
Compatibility note: For 10 Gbps over the RJ-45 ports use Cat6A (up to 100 m) or Cat6 for shorter runs. SFP+ modules/DAC cables are not included, and the switch has no PoE. Operating range is 0–40°C, so keep it in a ventilated spot.
