LevelOne FEU-0812 — 8-Port Fast Ethernet Desktop Switch
8× RJ45 10/100 MbpsPlug-and-playEnergy-efficient 802.3azDesktop or wall
The LevelOne FEU-0812 is an unmanaged 8-port Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) desktop switch for adding wired ports to a small office, shop, home or lab network where devices only need 100 Mbps — printers, POS terminals, IP phones, alarm panels, access-control units and similar equipment.
All eight ports auto-negotiate speed and duplex and support auto-MDI/MDIX, so any straight or crossover cable works. There is nothing to configure: connect it to your router and plug in your devices. The switch is powered by a small 5 V adapter, draws about 1.7 W and supports IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet.
Before you order: This is a 10/100 Mbps switch. Gigabit devices connected to it will run at 100 Mbps — choose a Gigabit switch for PCs, NAS or fast internet connections above 100 Mbps.

- Power adapter
- Quick Installation Guide
- Declaration of Conformity
- No Ethernet cables
What It Means in Practice
- Ideal for devices with 100 Mbps network ports: printers, POS terminals, VoIP phones, set-top boxes, controllers and older PCs.
- Every port is limited to 100 Mbps — a fibre internet line faster than 100 Mbps will be capped for any device behind this switch.
- Non-blocking 1.6 Gbps backplane means all eight ports can run full-duplex 100 Mbps at the same time.
- Very low power draw (about 1.7 W) makes it suitable for always-on use in cabinets and under desks.
- Desktop or wall mounting in a compact 130.7 × 52.3 × 20 mm housing.
What Will Not Work
- No Gigabit: it will not give 1000 Mbps to PCs, NAS or Wi-Fi access points.
- No PoE — it cannot power IP cameras, phones or access points.
- No management, VLANs or QoS settings.
- No SFP/fibre port.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The FEU-0812 is the right switch when you need cheap, reliable 100 Mbps ports for printers, POS and VoIP — and the wrong one for PCs, NAS or anything that benefits from Gigabit. For a few euro more, a Gigabit switch future-proofs the desk; compare in our
network switches.
✓ Buy it if your devices have 100 Mbps network ports and you just need more ports.
✕ Skip it if you connect PCs, NAS, access points or an internet line faster than 100 Mbps.
→ Also consider an 8-port Gigabit desktop switch such as the TRENDnet TEG-S80g or Intellinet 561754.
