LevelOne FPS-1032 — USB 2.0 Print Server
1 USB 2.0 printer10/100 EthernetLPR · IPP · SMBCompact
The LevelOne FPS-1032 is a compact print server that turns a USB printer into a shared network printer. The printer connects to its USB 2.0 port, the server connects to your switch or router with a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet cable, and every computer on the network can print, with no PC left on as print host. It supports LPR, RAW TCP, IPP, SMB, AppleTalk and NetWare printing and is set up through a web browser or the included utility, with upgradeable firmware. At 64.8 × 73.2 × 24.9 mm it fits beside the printer. In practice it puts a good USB printer on the office network for little cost.
Compatibility — check before buying:
One USB printer. It has no parallel port; for a parallel printer choose the FPS-1031, and for two USB printers plus one parallel, the FPS-1033. The USB cable to the printer is not included. The manufacturer lists Windows ME to Windows 7, Mac OS 8.1 or higher, Unix/Linux and NetWare; Windows 10 and 11 are not on that list. The server supports LPR and RAW printing, so a current PC can add it as a standard TCP/IP printer port, but the maker’s setup utility is only listed for the older systems. It shares printing only — scanning, fax and ink or toner status of multifunction printers are not listed, and host-based (GDI) printers that rely on a special driver link are not confirmed. Tell us your printer model and we check it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it work with Windows 10 and 11?
LevelOne lists Windows ME to Windows 7, Mac OS 8.1 or higher, Unix/Linux and NetWare. You can add it as a standard TCP/IP port (LPR or RAW) on a current PC; tell us your PC and printer and we confirm before you order.
Can I scan through it?
No. It shares printing only. For network scanning, use a printer with its own network port or a USB device server with scanning software.
Is a USB cable included?
No. Use the USB cable of your printer, and a network cable to your switch or router.
Can I connect two printers?
No, it has one USB port. For two USB printers and one parallel printer, choose the LevelOne FPS-1033.
Singular Expert Insight
We suggest the FPS-1032 when one good USB printer should serve the whole office. Connect it to one of our
network switches. For shared scanning too, a printer with built-in networking from our
multifunction laser printers is the better route.
