The Lindy 38490 is a 10 m DisplayPort to HDMI hybrid copper/fibre cable that converts a DisplayPort 1.2 output from a PC or graphics card into HDMI at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60Hz, for TVs, projectors and monitors across a room. The fibre section carries the 18 Gbps signal reliably over 10 m, where passive DisplayPort-to-HDMI cables often fail at 4K. Part number 38490 uses gold-plated connectors and a PVC jacket.
Compatibility Note: The conversion works in one direction only: DisplayPort source (PC/GPU) to HDMI display. It cannot connect an HDMI source to a DisplayPort monitor.
