Lindy 38512 Fibre Optic Hybrid HDMI 8K60 Cable, 20 m
Full 48 Gbps HDMI over 20 m in a 4.4 mm fibre-hybrid cable — for home cinema, gaming rooms and AV installs.
8K @ 60 Hz4K @ 120 Hz48 Gbps20 m hybrid
The Lindy 38512 is a 20 m fibre optic hybrid HDMI cable that carries 48 Gbps for 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz between a source and a TV, projector or monitor. It supports eARC, VRR, ALLM, QFT, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
Optical fibres carry the high-speed data while copper conductors handle power and control signals, so the cable stays thin (4.4 mm) and flexible while holding full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth over a distance where passive copper cables drop out.
Compatibility Note: Fibre-hybrid HDMI cables are usually installed in one direction — if the connectors are marked Source and Display, connect them accordingly. 8K at 60 Hz is carried as 4:2:0 10-bit; 4K at 120 Hz is carried at full 4:4:4 10-bit.
Key Features
HDMI 2.1 gaming and cinema features
VRR, ALLM and QFT for consoles and gaming PCs, plus Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and eARC with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for home cinema.
Slim hybrid construction
A 4.4 mm jacket and 50 mm minimum bend radius make the 20 m run easy to hide along skirting, in trunking or through ceiling voids.
Gold-plated connectors
Gold-plated pins in PVC housings give reliable contact, and the cable meets CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and REACH requirements.

Singular Expert Insight
The Lindy 38512 is a well-rounded long HDMI 2.1 cable: full 48 Gbps, the complete gaming and home-cinema feature set and a very slim jacket. For fixed 4K 60 Hz installs a cheaper HDMI 2.0 active cable is enough; for certified 48 Gbps at 15 m, the Club 3D CAC-1377 is an alternative.
✓ Buy it if you need 4K 120 Hz or 8K with eARC over 20 m and want a thin cable that is easy to hide.
✕ Skip it if your devices are 4K 60 Hz only and cost matters more than HDMI 2.1 headroom.
→ Also consider the Lindy 38511 (15 m) for shorter runs.
