What's in the box: Hub + 0.5 m USB Type-A to Micro-B power cable + manual. An external 5 V / 2 A power supply for the Micro-B socket is not included and is only needed if you plan to connect multiple high-current devices (large external HDDs, fast-charging tablets, etc.).
The Lindy 43309 is a compact, aluminium-housed 4-port USB 3.0 hub aimed at desktops and laptops that have run out of USB Type-A sockets. Each downstream port has its own physical on/off switch — useful for cycling power to peripherals, drives that should only spin up when needed, or keeping always-on devices (Yubikey, dongles) live while toggling others. It runs at full USB 3.2 Gen 1 / 3.0 SuperSpeed (5 Gbps), with backward compatibility to USB 2.0 and 1.1. Bus-powered for normal use; for setups with several power-hungry devices, a 5 V / 2 A external supply can be added via the Micro-B socket. Internally it's based on the Genesys GL3520 4-port hub controller. The aluminium / ABS housing measures 100 × 30 × 9 mm with a fixed 31 cm USB Type-A cable.
