Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
Ideal for installers and users planning a fixed HDMI distribution setup where the source and display are separated by a long Cat.6 run and control signals also need to be carried.
Skip it if
This is the transmitter side only, so it must be used with a compatible HDBaseT receiver. The stated range is 40 m at 4K60 and 70 m at 1080p over Cat.6, and the installation should be planned around those limits.
Also consider
Consider a simpler HDMI extender if you do not need 4K60, bidirectional control or PoC, as that may be a lower-cost fit for basic long-distance signal runs.
