The Lindy IPower Switch Classic 8 is a 19-inch, 1U power control unit with eight IEC C13 outlets that you can switch on and off individually over the network from a web browser or Lindy software. It is built for server rooms and comms cabinets where you need to power-cycle a hung server, router or switch without being on site.
It accepts 110–240 V through an IEC C20 inlet, measures total current (0–20 A True RMS) with a 3-digit display on the front, logs consumption charts and raises an audible overload warning. Each outlet has a status LED, and the unit shows its IP address on the front panel.
Before you order: no mains cable is supplied. You need a C19-to-plug power cable for the C20 inlet (Lindy suggests parts 30459 or 30344). Total load is limited to 13 A (3120 W at 240 V), or 16 A with a C19 Commando cable; each outlet is limited to 10 A. SSL/HTTPS is not supported.

What Will Not Work
- No HTTPS/SSL: Lindy states SSL is not supported, so keep it on a trusted management network.
- No Schuko outlets: devices with Schuko plugs need adapters or a different strip.
- No per-outlet metering — the meter shows total current.
- Does not work out of the box without a C20 power cable.
