The Lindy 47893 is the RJ45 Port Blocker Extra Key in green: a single colour-coded key for Lindy’s RJ45 port blocker system. It fits and removes Lindy green RJ45 port blockers — you insert the key into the blocker and pull back to release it from the port. It is sold on its own, with no blockers in the bag, so it is the part you order as a spare for IT, as a second key for another site or technician, or to replace a lost one. In practice a spare key means a blocked network port can always be released when a cable really needs to go in, without waiting for the one person who holds the original.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a key only — no blockers are included. Lindy states its keys are colour-specific and only open blockers of the same colour, so this green key releases green Lindy RJ45 blockers and nothing else. If you do not own green blockers yet, order the Green RJ45 Port Blocker Kit 47894 (1 key + 10 locks) or the Green Extra Lock Pack 47895 (20 locks, no key). It is made for Lindy’s RJ45 blockers; it does not open Lindy USB-A, USB-C or SFP blockers. Lindy also still lists an older green RJ45 kit 40472; it does not state whether the old and current ranges work together, so tell us which blockers you already have and we match the key.
