Lindy 32310 Control Touchpad 4 inch — Wall AV Control Panel
4 inch 720 x 720 capacitiveAndroid 11PoE 802.3afTCP/IP + RS-232
The Lindy Control Touchpad 32310 is a 4-inch wall-mounted control panel for AV rooms: an 86 x 86 mm square screen beside the door that turns the system on, selects a source, sets the volume and drops the screen. It runs Android 11 and is programmed with the same Lindy Pro Control software as the larger 10-inch desktop model, sending commands over TCP/IP to networked AV equipment and over RS-232 to serial devices.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The serial port on the 32310 is RS-232 on a 3-pin terminal block — the opposite of the 10-inch 32309, which is RS-485. If both models go into one project they wire differently. Lindy supplies a wall-mounting bracket and screws plus a 24 V 1 A multi-country power supply, but no PoE injector, no network cable and no recessed back box. The 86 x 86 x 44 mm body matches the familiar square wall-plate footprint, but Lindy publishes no back-box type or depth requirement, so confirm what is in the wall before first fix. Lindy Pro Control also exposes IR and relay modules; this hardware has neither.
Best For
✓ Meeting rooms that need a simple panel beside the door
✓ Classrooms and training rooms with a fixed projector
✓ Hotel and conference spaces where a tablet would walk away
✓ Retrofit into an existing square wall-plate position
✓ Installations standardising on Lindy Pro Control
✓ Rooms where one PoE cable is easier than a mains spur
Key Features
4-inch square capacitive panel
A 10.2 cm 720 x 720 touchscreen running Android 11 on an ARM Cortex-A55 at 1.8 GHz with 4 GB DDR4 and 32 GB eMMC. Enough for a clean page of large buttons that anyone can use without instruction.
Wall bracket in the box
Ships with a wall-mounting bracket and two screws, a 3-pin Phoenix connector and a 24 V 1 A multi-country power supply, so the only thing to plan on site is the cable route.
PoE or local power
Gigabit RJ45 with PoE 802.3af carries data and power up to 100 m over Cat.6. Where the switch is not PoE, the supplied 24 V adapter takes over and nothing else changes.
Same software as the 10-inch model
Lindy Pro Control for Windows and macOS builds the interface and pushes it to the panel, so a site with a desktop 32309 in the boardroom and wall 32310 panels elsewhere is maintained from one tool.

Singular Expert Insight
The 32310 is the panel you fit where people stand, not where they sit: by the door, at a lectern, on the wall of a classroom. Four inches is deliberately small — it forces a page of five or six large buttons that need no explanation, which is exactly what a shared room wants. Two things decide the order. First, it is RS-232 where the 10-inch 32309 is RS-485, so plan the serial wiring per model. Second, Lindy gives you a surface bracket and says nothing about a back box, so check the wall before first fix. It sits naturally alongside the commercial displays it controls and the PoE switches that feed it.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You want a fixed wall panel controlling a room over the network or RS-232, you have a Cat.6 run to the position, and you want the same Lindy Pro Control software across every room on the site.
Skip it if
You need a large seated control surface, or your AV devices only offer RS-485 serial control. Both point to the 10-inch desktop Lindy 32309 instead.
Also consider
The Lindy 32309 10-inch desktop Control Touchpad for the boardroom table, and a PoE 802.3af switch so each panel needs only one cable.
