Lindy 43159 — 10 m USB 3.2 Gen 1 4-Port Hub, Active Extension Pro
10 m active cable, fixed4x USB-A at 5 GbpsPSU includedCascades to about 40 m
The Lindy 43159 is a four-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 hub on the end of a 10 m active cable: plug the USB-A end into the computer, run the cable across the room, and connect a camera, printer, interactive display or keyboard and mouse at full 5 Gbps ten metres away. The 5 V / 3.5 A power supply is in the box and powers the hub end, so the devices do not depend on power sent down ten metres of cable.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The cable is fixed to the hub — you cannot shorten it or swap it. The hub needs its power supply; Lindy specifies external power, so plan a mains socket at the far end. All device ports are USB-A. For longer runs Lindy’s manual allows up to four units in a chain to about 40 m, but the chain has to start with the 8 m (43158) or 15 m (43229) unit, not with this one. Lindy publishes no per-port current, no chipset and no OS list.
Best For
✓ Cameras and conference systems across a meeting room
✓ Interactive whiteboards and touch displays
✓ Printers and scanners in the next room
✓ PCs in cabinets with peripherals on the desk
✓ Trade show and event setups
✓ Lab instruments away from the workstation
Key Features
Ten metres at 5 Gbps
Active signal regeneration keeps USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) intact over a 10 m round PVC cable with Al-Mylar and braid shielding, tinned copper conductors and locking connectors.
Four ports at the far end
The hub end has four USB-A ports and a DC socket, so one run serves a keyboard, mouse, camera and drive; the 5 V / 3.5 A multi-country supply (EU, UK, US, AU) is included.
Part of a system
Lindy’s Active Extension System Pro chains up to four units for roughly 40 m in total, starting with the 43158 or 43229 head unit.

Singular Expert Insight
Compared with the StarTech U01043 on this page, which does the same job with a 20 W adapter and a 20 m two-unit limit, the Lindy is the one to pick when you may later extend to 40 m with Lindy’s head units; the StarTech is the one for a single 10 m run with fewer questions. Both sit in our USB hubs range; a camera or one of our external hard drives is the usual far-end device. Not sure your computer, cabinet supply or cable fits? Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need four USB 3.0 ports ten metres from the PC, at full 5 Gbps, with the power supply included and the option to chain further with Lindy units.
