The Lindy 40440 is the USB-C Port Blocker Extra Lock Pack, Orange (10x Locks): 10 extra orange blockers for a Lindy USB-C port blocker system you already run. Each blocker is pushed into an unused port by hand and stays there until it is pulled out with the matching orange key, so nobody can plug a USB device or cable into that port without it. In practice it stops files being copied to or from a USB-C stick or drive, keeps unknown chargers and accessories off shared and public machines, and keeps dust and lint out of ports you do not use. The pack contains no key — you need a orange Lindy key, and we explain below which part number gives you one.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Keys are colour-coded: Lindy states that a key only opens blockers of the same colour, so a orange blocker needs a orange key — a key from another colour will not release it. This pack has no key: without the Orange USB-C Port Blocker Kit 40428 (1 key + 4 locks) — Lindy’s USB-C range lists no key on its own, so the kit is how you get the orange key, the blockers cannot be removed once fitted. It fits USB-C ports only (including Thunderbolt 3/4, which use the USB-C connector) — not USB-A, micro-USB or Lightning. A blocked port also cannot charge, so do not fit one in the USB-C port your laptop charges from. Lindy does not publish a fit for deeply recessed or unusually shaped ports; if yours sit deep in a case or behind a cover, send us the device model and we check it.
