Lindy 40622 — USB-A Port Blocker Extra Key, Blue (1x Key)
The Lindy 40622 is the USB-A Port Blocker Extra Key, Blue (1x Key): a single blue key for Lindy’s USB-A port blocker system. The key is used to fit blue blockers into unused USB-A ports and, more importantly, to take them out again — insert the key into the fitted blocker and pull back. Lindy keys are colour-coded, so this blue key opens blue blockers only. In practice it is the spare that stops a locked-up PC becoming a problem when the original key goes missing, or a second key so that another IT technician or site can manage the same blue set. The pack contains the key only — no blockers. Because every colour has its own key pattern, the blue key can be handed to the people responsible for the blue ports — a department, a classroom or a branch — without giving them access to ports protected in other colours. The blockers themselves need no drivers or configuration, so the key works the same on Windows, macOS, Linux and thin clients.
