LogiLink ORCEB1B 19-inch 1U Cable Entry Panel with Brush Insert, 1.5 mm Painted Steel, Black
LogiLink ORCEB1B — 19-inch 1U Cable Entry Panel with Brush Insert
The LogiLink ORCEB1B is a 19-inch 1U cable entry panel with a brush insert, made of painted 1.5 mm sheet steel in black, for passing patch cords and power leads from the front of a rack to the rear while keeping the opening closed.
A blank panel seals a unit but stops cables; an open gap passes cables but lets dust and warm air through. A brush panel does both jobs: the bristles close around the cables that go through and fill the space where there are none. It is the usual choice above a switch whose uplinks run to the back of the rack, or behind a patch panel to hide the cable loop.
What's in the Box
- 1 × LogiLink 19-inch 1U cable entry panel with brush insert, black
- Mounting screws and cage nuts are not listed by LogiLink — have four on hand
What It Means in Practice
- Takes one height unit and passes cables front-to-back through the brush strip.
- Bristles close around the cables, so the rack front stays covered even with cords running through.
- Useful for keeping the look of a closed rack while still routing cables to the rear.
- The steel frame is 1.5 mm and painted black to match standard black cabinets.
What Will Not Work
- 10-inch cabinets: the panel is made for 19-inch racks.
- Airtight sealing: a brush reduces airflow and dust entry, but it is not a gasket.
- Cable guiding: the brush passes cables through, it does not hold them in groups; combine it with a cable management panel with brackets.
- Grey cabinets: this version is black only.
