The LogiLink CV0127 is a 2 m cable with a DisplayPort plug on one end and an HDMI plug on the other, for connecting a PC or graphics card to an HDMI monitor, TV or projector. It supports 4K 3840×2160 at 30 Hz and Full HD at 60 Hz, up to 10.2 Gbps, HDCP 1.3 and multichannel audio including Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD.

Compatibility note: One-way cable: DisplayPort source → HDMI display only, and the DisplayPort output must be dual-mode (DP++). 4K is limited to 30 Hz — fine for video, but sluggish for desktop work on a 4K monitor.

No. The cable only converts from a DisplayPort output to an HDMI input. An HDMI source needs an active HDMI-to-DisplayPort converter.
Will I get sound on my TV?
Yes. The cable passes digital audio from the DisplayPort source to the HDMI TV or monitor, including Dolby and DTS formats if the PC outputs them.
