LogiLink ID0018A — Flexible Waterproof Keyboard, White
WaterproofRolls up109 keysWhite
This is a keyboard for places a normal keyboard does not survive. The whole body is silicone — LogiLink states it is absolutely dust-, dirt- and waterproof and extremely durable — so it can be used in a workshop, a laboratory, a kitchen or a clinic and then cleaned with a sponge and rinsing water. That is a genuinely different proposition from a keyboard cover: there is nothing to lift off, nothing for dirt to fall into, and no gap between keys at all. It carries 109 keys in the German QWERTZ layout, the keys are soft touch and low noise, and the whole board rolls up for storage or transport. It connects by USB Type-A, with a PS/2 adapter included for older machines, on a 1.4 m cable, and it is Plug and Play with hot plug support. It measures 492 x 139 x 10 mm and weighs 213 g. Colour: white.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Be clear about the typing experience, because it is the trade this product makes. A silicone keyboard has soft, flat keys with no click and no mechanical travel: it is quiet and completely sealed, and it is slower to touch-type on than a normal board. That is fine for entering codes, quantities and short commands in a dirty environment, and it is the wrong choice for someone writing documents all day — if the keyboard is going on an ordinary office desk, buy a normal one. Second, waterproof means washable, not submersible for hours: rinse it, do not soak it, and let it dry fully before plugging it back in. Third, it needs a flat surface: rolled out it is 492 mm wide but only 10 mm thick, and it takes the shape of whatever it lies on, so it wants a firm bench rather than a soft mat. The PS/2 adapter in the box is what makes this usable on older industrial machines that still run PS/2, which is often exactly where it ends up. On the gaps: LogiLink publishes no IP rating, no temperature range and no key-life figure for this model, so we quote none.
Best For
✓ Workshops, garages and production floors
✓ Laboratories and clinical rooms
✓ Kitchens and food handling
✓ Dusty sites where keyboards clog and die
✓ Machines that still use PS/2
✓ Shared boards that must be washed between users
Key Features
Sealed, not covered
The body is silicone throughout, so there are no gaps between keys for dust or liquid to enter — a different thing entirely from a keyboard with a cover over it.
Wash it in the sink
LogiLink states it is cleaned with a sponge and rinsing water. On a site with a cleaning round that is the difference between a keyboard and a consumable.
It rolls up
The whole board rolls for storage or transport, so it lives in a drawer or a toolbox rather than taking permanent desk space.
USB and PS/2
A USB Type-A plug with a PS/2 adapter in the box, so it works on modern machines and on the older industrial hardware where it is often needed.

Singular Expert Insight
The reason to buy a silicone keyboard rather than a cover is that there is no seam anywhere: nothing to lift, nothing to trap. Accept that touch-typing is slower and it is an excellent tool. See our German QWERTZ keyboards and our keyboard accessories.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a keyboard in a wet, dusty or dirty place that can be washed and rolled up, in the German QWERTZ layout.
Skip it if
It is going on an ordinary office desk, or your users write long documents all day.
Also consider
The other colour of the same keyboard, or a CHERRY WetEx film if you would rather protect a conventional board.
