The LogiLink NP0039A is a shielded Cat.6 wall outlet with two RJ45 ports and a surface back box in the box, so it mounts flush, on the surface of a bare wall, or in a cable duct. It is rated for Gigabit Ethernet and works with Cat.5e and Cat.6 installations, carries PoE, PoE+ and PoE++, and terminates on LSA strips for 22–24 AWG solid installation cable. The metal die-cast housing has strain relief, and the two ports sit at 40°. The colour is signal white (RAL 9003). In practice it is the universal network point for offices and homes where no flush box is available.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Cat.6 means Gigabit, not 10 Gigabit. For a 10G-ready point, choose a Cat.6A outlet such as the NP0124. LSA takes solid installation cable (22–24 AWG) — do not terminate stranded patch cable on it. Wiring is on LSA strips with a punch-down (LSA) tool; the tool and the installation cable are not included. Not sure which outlet suits your wall box or cable?
