LogiLink PDU8P01 - 1U Smart IP PDU, 8 x IEC C13, Remote Control
8 x IEC C13C20 inlet, max 3600 WWeb remote control1U 19-inch
The LogiLink PDU8P01 is a 1U 19-inch smart power distribution unit with eight IEC C13 outlets that you can switch remotely over the network from a web browser. It suits server rooms and remote racks where you need to power-cycle a frozen router, switch or server without being on site.
The PDU is fed through an IEC C20 inlet (110-240 V, 50/60 Hz, max. 3600 W) and has 16 A overload and surge protection. It measures current and voltage, has embedded temperature and humidity sensors, and shows status on front LEDs. The housing is black metal, 442 x 44.5 x 120 mm.
Before you order: The outlets are IEC C13 - not Schuko or UK sockets - so each device needs a C14-to-C13 power cord. The PDU input is a C20 inlet fed by the supplied 2 m C19-to-C20 cable, which needs a C19 outlet on your UPS or upstream PDU, not a wall socket.
What's in the Box
- 1 x LogiLink PDU8P01 smart IP PDU
- 1 x IEC C19 to C20 power cable, 2 m
- Management software
What It Means in Practice
- Reboot a hung device remotely by switching its outlet off and on from the web interface.
- Current and voltage readings show how much load the rack draws, which helps when sizing a UPS.
- Temperature and humidity readings give an early warning if the cabinet runs hot.
- At only 120 mm deep, it fits shallow wall cabinets as well as server racks.
What Will Not Work
- Devices with Schuko or UK plugs - they need C14 power cords or adapters.
- Plugging the PDU straight into a wall socket - the input is a C20 inlet that needs a C19 source such as a UPS output.
- SNMP monitoring is not listed by LogiLink - protocols are TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP and DNS.
- Loads above 3600 W in total.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I switch individual outlets?
The PDU supports remote control of its outlets over the network through the web interface. Tell us your use case and we can confirm before you order.
What do I plug the PDU into?
The supplied 2 m cable has a C19 connector, so the PDU is usually fed from a UPS or upstream PDU with a C19 outlet.
Does it support SNMP?
LogiLink lists TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, DHCP and DNS only, so do not plan on SNMP monitoring.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The PDU8P01 is a cost-effective way to add remote power control to a rack: when a remote router or switch hangs, you can power-cycle it from a browser instead of sending someone on site. Plan the power cords, since all outlets are IEC C13 and the input needs a C19 source. More options are in our
rack accessories.
✓ Buy it if you want to switch rack devices remotely and monitor load and temperature through a browser.
✕ Skip it if you need SNMP integration or Schuko/UK outlets.
→ Also consider A basic 19-inch power strip if you do not need remote control.
