The LogiLink MP0031 is an RJ45 inline coupler from the LogiLink Professional range: a small beige block with an RJ45 socket at each end and a straight 1:1 connection between them. Plug a patch cord into each side and the two cords become one longer link. It measures 36.8 × 16.6 × 22.3 mm, weighs 6 g and has gold-plated contacts. In practice it is the quick fix when a network or telephone patch cord is a little too short, or when you need to join two cords temporarily for a desk move, an event or a test.
Compatibility — check before buying:
A coupler joins two patch cords that already have RJ45 plugs — it does not terminate installation cable. The MP0031 is unshielded, so it breaks the shield of an STP/FTP cable run — for shielded or 10 Gbit/s links use a shielded coupler rated for that category. LogiLink does not publish a Cat rating for this coupler, so it is best kept for everyday office links, telephone cords and short temporary extensions. Every coupler adds a joint to the link; keep the total cord length within the usual 100 m Ethernet limit. Tell us the model you have and we check it before you order.
