LogiLink NBS012 — Keyed Security Lock for Noble Wedge Slots
Noble WedgeKeyed · 2 keys360° headSilver
The LogiLink NBS012 Notebook Security Noble Lock is a keyed security cable for devices with a Noble Wedge slot (3.2 × 4.5 mm), the trapezoid slot used on many current Dell laptops and other thin devices.
It uses an anti-pick tubular key lock, a head that pivots 90° and rotates 360°, and a steel cable with protective PVC coating and an anti-shearing sleeve. It weighs 119 g.
Before you order: Noble Wedge slots only. It does not fit the standard Kensington K-Slot or the Kensington Nano slot. LogiLink does not publish the cable length.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Notebook key lock
- 2 × Keys
- 1 × Velcro strap
- 1 × User manual
What It Means in Practice
- Loop the cable around a fixed point, insert the head into the Wedge slot and lock with the key.
- The pivoting, rotating head lets the cable run in any direction without stressing the slot.
- The Velcro strap tidies excess cable.
- Keep the second key with IT or in a safe place.
What Will Not Work
- Standard Kensington K-Slot or Nano slots.
- Devices without a lock slot.
- Keyless operation — it is keyed.
- It deters opportunistic theft; it is not rated against power tools.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Wedge-slot laptops need a Wedge-specific lock — a standard K-Slot lock will not engage. For mixed fleets, a universal lock is easier. Lock the dock too: many of our docking stations have their own slot.
✓ Buy it if your laptop has a Noble Wedge slot and you want a keyed lock.
✕ Skip it if your device uses a K-Slot or Nano slot.
