LogiLink LPS402 5-Way Power Strip with Remote Control — White
5 × Schuko at 45°Remote, 20 m rangeSurge protection1.5 m cable
The LogiLink LPS402 is a 5-way Schuko power strip with a wireless remote control and surge protection, made for TV and AV setups, under-desk installations or anywhere the strip is hard to reach — switch it from the sofa or chair instead of crawling behind furniture.
The remote works at 433.92 MHz with up to 20 m range and runs on one A27 12 V battery; it can control two LogiLink remote strips (the second is sold separately). The five sockets sit at 45° with raised touch protection, an LED shows the surge protection status, and the strip is rated 230 V / 16 A, 3,680 W, with a 1.5 m H05VV-F 3G 1.5 mm² cable and angled CEE 7/7 plug.
Before you order: Cyprus wall sockets are BS 1363 (Type G). This lead ends in a Schuko plug, so it needs a Schuko wall socket or a Schuko-to-UK adapter; a fused UK adapter (normally 13 A) limits the whole strip to roughly 3,000 W, below its 3,680 W rating.
What's in the Box
- 1 × LogiLink LPS402 5-way power strip (white) with fixed 1.5 m cable and angled Schuko plug.
- 1 × remote control (uses one A27 12 V battery).
- 1 × user manual.
What It Means in Practice
- Turn a TV, soundbar and console fully off at night from the remote to cut standby consumption.
- Mount or hide the strip behind furniture — the 20 m radio range does not need line of sight like infrared.
- One remote can run two LogiLink strips if you add a second one later.
- The surge-protection LED shows the protection is active.
What Will Not Work
- UK three-pin (Type G) plugs do not fit these Schuko sockets — each UK-plug device needs its own UK-to-Schuko adapter.
- Plugging the lead straight into a Cyprus BS 1363 wall socket — the Schuko plug needs a Schuko wall socket or a Schuko-to-UK adapter.
- Running several heaters, kettles, irons or other high-wattage appliances at once — their combined draw can exceed the 3,680 W limit and trip the wall circuit.
- Daisy-chaining it into another extension lead — the first lead and the wall outlet still limit the total load.
- Smart-home apps, Wi-Fi or voice assistants — it is a radio remote only.
- Keeping a PC or NAS running in a power cut — that needs a UPS.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it plug into a normal wall socket in Cyprus?
Not directly. Cyprus uses BS 1363 (Type G) sockets and this lead has a Schuko plug. Use a Schuko-to-UK adapter or a Schuko wall socket; with a 13 A fused adapter, keep the total load to about 3,000 W.
Does the remote need line of sight?
No. It uses 433.92 MHz radio with up to 20 m range, so it works through furniture.
Can one remote control two strips?
Yes, it can pair with two LogiLink strips; the second strip is sold separately.
Does it work with Alexa or an app?
No. It is controlled only by the supplied radio remote.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Remote switching is the easiest way to kill standby power on a TV or AV setup hidden behind a cabinet, and the surge protection adds peace of mind for the electronics. If you need more sockets or a longer lead, browse our
power extension range.
✓ Buy it if you want to switch a hard-to-reach group of devices on and off from your seat.
✕ Skip it if you need app or voice control, USB charging or more than 1.5 m of cable.
