The LogiLink UA0282 is a compact powered hub: four USB 3.0 Type-A ports at up to 5 Gbps, a detachable USB 3.0 host cable and a 5 V / 4 A (20 W) external adapter in the box. At 85.3 × 49.4 × 15.4 mm and 75 g it takes almost no desk space, and the aluminium housing in space grey has a power LED and built-in over-current detection. Part number UA0282 is plug and play on Windows, macOS and Linux with no driver.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Host connection is USB-A via the supplied cable; a USB-C-only laptop needs an adapter, which is not in the box. LogiLink does not publish the upstream connector type on the hub or the cable length, so keep the supplied cable with the unit. There is no video, no Ethernet and no charging of the computer.
