LogiLink UA0126 — thirteen powered USB 2.0 ports on a 117 mm block

13 x USB-A downstream5 V / 3.5 A adapter included500 mA per port publishedMaster on/off switch

Thirteen downstream ports is an unusual number, and the LogiLink UA0126 fits them into a 117 mm block with its own 5 V / 3.5 A adapter. LogiLink publishes 500 mA per port — the full USB 2.0 allowance — along with a master on/off switch and a blue activity LED. It is the hub for a bench, a rack shelf or a counter where a lot of small devices have to stay connected and a computer’s own sockets ran out long ago.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Do the arithmetic before you fill it: thirteen ports at 500 mA each would ask for 6.5 A, and the supplied adapter provides 3.5 A. In practice that is plenty for keyboards, mice, receivers, scanners and dongles, but you cannot draw full current on all thirteen at once, and it is not a charging station. Every port is USB 2.0 at up to 480 Mbps, shared, so storage will work but slowly. The switch is one master switch for the whole hub, not one per port. One inconsistency in LogiLink’s own data worth knowing: the product name quotes a 75 cm host cable while the specification table says 60 cm — we publish both rather than pick one.

Best For

✓ Test benches and lab rigs with many devices
✓ Counters, POS and barcode scanner setups
✓ Security and licence dongles that stay plugged in
✓ Keyboards, mice and wireless receivers
✓ Rack shelves and service desks
✓ Anywhere a computer has simply run out of ports

Key Features

Thirteen ports, mains fed
A 5 V / 3.5 A adapter comes in the box, so the ports draw from the wall rather than from the computer — the difference between thirteen sockets that work and thirteen that argue.

A published per-port figure
LogiLink states 5 V / 500 mA per port, the full USB 2.0 allowance. Most hubs at this price publish nothing at all, which makes planning what to connect guesswork.

One switch and a status light
A master on/off switch with a blue activity LED shuts the whole hub down at the end of the day, and power-cycles a stuck device without unplugging a dozen cables.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can all thirteen ports supply full power at the same time?
No, and it is worth being clear about it. LogiLink publishes 500 mA per port, which is the USB 2.0 standard allowance, and supplies a 3.5 A adapter. Thirteen ports at 500 mA would need 6.5 A. For what this hub is actually for — keyboards, mice, receivers, scanners, dongles, serial adapters — the draw is a fraction of that and it is never an issue. If you were planning to charge several phones or tablets from it, that is the wrong use and you will hit the limit.
How fast is it, really?
480 Mbps at best, shared across all thirteen ports, because it is USB 2.0. A flash drive will mount and work; a modern external SSD will run at roughly a twentieth of its rated speed. That is a deliberate trade — USB 2.0 is what makes thirteen ports affordable — and it is the right trade if the devices are peripherals. If storage is involved, buy a 5 Gbps hub for that job.
Is there a switch for each port?
No, there is one master switch that cuts the entire hub, plus a blue activity LED. It is genuinely useful at the end of a shift and for power-cycling a device that has locked up, but it is not per-port control. If you need to switch devices individually, tell us and we will point you at a model in our range with a switch on every port.
Singular Expert Insight
Thirteen ports at this price only exists because it is USB 2.0, and that is exactly the right engineering for what people actually plug into a hub this size. Scanners, dongles, receivers, keyboards, serial adapters and test hardware never approach 480 Mbps; a single external SSD would swamp it. So treat the UA0126 as infrastructure for peripherals, and keep storage on a 5 Gbps model from our USB hub range — moving files to and from USB flash drives is where the difference becomes minutes instead of seconds. Within LogiLink’s own line the choice is simple: UA0096 is ten ports with no switch, UA0125 is ten ports with a master switch, UA0126 is thirteen ports with a master switch and a published 500 mA per port. All three ship with the same 3.5 A supply, so pick on port count and control.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You need a lot of ports for low-speed devices, mains-powered so nothing drops out. You want a published per-port current figure rather than guesswork. You want one switch to shut the whole bench down at the end of the day.

Skip it if

You are connecting external SSDs or drives and care about speed — this is USB 2.0. You want to charge phones or tablets: 3.5 A does not go far across thirteen ports. You need a switch on each port.

Also consider

LogiLink UA0096 or UA0125 if ten ports are enough. A 5 Gbps powered hub if any device is storage. A hub with per-port switches if you need to control devices individually.
