The Logitech Combo Touch 920-012612 is a protective keyboard case with a detachable backlit keyboard and a Multi-Touch trackpad for the iPad Air 13-inch (M2, M3 and M4), built for students and professionals who want laptop-style typing on their iPad.
It connects through the iPad's Smart Connector, so the keyboard is powered by the iPad: there is no battery to charge and no Bluetooth pairing. A flexible kickstand and the detachable keyboard give you type, view, sketch and read modes.
Before you order: This is the Swiss QWERTZ version (Swiss German/French layout with umlauts and accents, Z and Y swapped compared with UK/US keyboards). It fits only the 13-inch iPad Air (M2, M3, M4); the 11-inch model needs a different Combo Touch.

What It Means in Practice
- Snap the iPad in, attach the keyboard and start typing: the Smart Connector handles power and data, so the keyboard is ready instantly.
- The trackpad supports iPadOS gestures such as swipe, pinch and double-tap, so you rarely need to reach for the screen.
- Remove the keyboard and fold the kickstand flat for drawing or reading; the case still protects the front, back and corners.
- The row of iPadOS shortcut keys controls brightness, volume, media, search and lock without leaving the keyboard.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit any other iPad size: the 11-inch iPad Air, the iPad Pro and the standard iPad need their own Combo Touch versions.
- If you touch-type on UK/US QWERTY, the Swiss QWERTZ key positions (Z/Y, punctuation, accented keys) will feel different; iPadOS can be set to another layout, but the printed keys stay Swiss.
- It does not work as a Bluetooth keyboard with phones or computers; it only works through the iPad's Smart Connector.
- It will not take a second keyboard or Magic Keyboard at the same time; it replaces any folio you already use.
