The Logitech Combo Touch 920-012635 is a protective keyboard case with a detachable backlit keyboard and a Multi-Touch trackpad for the iPad Air 11-inch (M2, M3 and M4) and iPad Air (5th generation), built for students and professionals who want laptop-style typing on their iPad.
It connects through the iPad's Smart Connector, so the keyboard is powered by the iPad: there is no battery to charge and no Bluetooth pairing. A flexible kickstand and the detachable keyboard give you type, view, sketch and read modes.
Before you order: Fits the 11-inch iPad Air (M2, M3, M4) and the iPad Air 5th generation. Logitech lists a separate Combo Touch for the iPad Air 4th generation, so do not assume this one fits it.

What It Means in Practice
- Snap the iPad in, attach the keyboard and start typing: the Smart Connector handles power and data, so the keyboard is ready instantly.
- The trackpad supports iPadOS gestures such as swipe, pinch and double-tap, so you rarely need to reach for the screen.
- Remove the keyboard and fold the kickstand flat for drawing or reading; the case still protects the front, back and corners.
- The row of iPadOS shortcut keys controls brightness, volume, media, search and lock without leaving the keyboard.
What Will Not Work
- It will not fit any other iPad size: the 13-inch iPad Air, the iPad Pro and the standard iPad need their own Combo Touch versions.
- It is not listed by Logitech for the iPad Air 4th generation, which has its own Combo Touch version.
- It does not work as a Bluetooth keyboard with phones or computers; it only works through the iPad's Smart Connector.
- It will not take a second keyboard or Magic Keyboard at the same time; it replaces any folio you already use.
