Logitech K120 — Wired USB Keyboard, Italian, Carbon
10 M keystrokesSpill resistantDeep-profile keysNo software
The Logitech K120 (920-002492) is probably the most widely deployed keyboard in the world, and the reasons are entirely unglamorous. It is full size with a 10-key numeric pad, uses deep-profile keys with a proper long stroke rather than a flat laptop tap, and is spill resistant — Logitech tests it with up to 60 ml of liquid. The keys are rated at up to 10 million keystrokes, which is why these boards routinely outlast the computers they were bought with. It measures 450 × 155 × 23.5 mm, weighs 550 g, has a curved space bar, adjustable tilt legs and Caps and Num lock indicators, and it is plug and play over USB with nothing to install. Logitech publishes the recycled content too: 51% post-consumer recycled plastic in the black plastics, with a product carbon footprint of 4.02 kg CO2e. In the box: keyboard and documentation.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Layout: Italian QWERTY keeps the QWERTY letters but adds accented vowels on dedicated keys and moves most symbols and brackets away from where a US or UK keyboard has them. Choose it only if you type in Italian; for English use in Cyprus ask us for the US or UK version of the same model. This is a wired USB keyboard on a 1.5 m cable: nothing to charge, nothing to pair, and it works in the BIOS and in boot menus, which is exactly why IT departments keep it on the shelf. There is no wireless option, no Bluetooth, no backlight, no media or hot keys and no palm rest. Logitech’s current page lists Windows 10 and 11. Two honest notes. Logitech publishes no key travel, no actuating force and no exact key count for the K120 — only "full size" and "10-key number pad". And its own support specification page for this model is contaminated with figures from a different product (it lists a battery weight), so we do not use it; the weight above is Logitech’s business datasheet figure of 550 g, not the 50 g typo on the shop page.
Best For
✓ Offices and schools buying keyboards by the box
✓ Machines that need keyboard access before Windows loads
✓ Reception counters, workshops and stock rooms
✓ Public and shared workstations where wireless goes missing
✓ Anywhere a spilled drink is a realistic risk
✓ Data entry, thanks to the full numeric pad
Key Features
Ten million keystrokes
Logitech rates the keys at up to 10 million presses — the reason this board is still working when the PC underneath it is replaced.
Spill resistant, and tested
Tested with up to 60 ml of liquid: the failure that ends most office keyboards, engineered against at a very low price.
A proper deep key
Deep-profile keys with a long stroke and a curved space bar — it types like a desktop keyboard, not a flattened laptop one.
Half recycled plastic
51% post-consumer recycled material in the black plastics, with a published 4.02 kg CO2e footprint.
