Logitech MK295 Silent — Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo, UK English, Graphite
Over 90% less noiseFull size + numpadOne receiver36-month battery
The Logitech MK295 Silent (920-009799) exists for one reason and does it very well: it is the set you buy when somebody has complained about the noise. Logitech’s SilentTouch technology removes over 90% of the typing and clicking noise compared with an ordinary set — not muffled, just quiet — without making the keys feel spongy. The keyboard is full size with a numeric pad and eight hotkeys, 441 × 149 × 22.75 mm and 495 g with batteries. The mouse is a contoured three-button shape with a 1000 dpi optical sensor, 99 × 60 × 39 mm and 74 g. One 2.4 GHz receiver covers both, with about 10 m of range, and the keyboard runs up to 36 months and the mouse 18. This part number is Graphite in the UK English layout. In the box: keyboard, mouse, receiver, batteries and documentation.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Layout: UK English QWERTY has the tall Enter key, £ on Shift+3, and @ and " swapped compared with US layout. Letters and numbers are identical to US; if you need the US key shapes, ask us for the US International version. Both devices run through the supplied 2.4 GHz receiver in a free USB-A port — a USB-C-only laptop needs an adapter or a dock. Logitech describes it as a non-Unifying receiver, so it cannot be replaced with a Unifying dongle or made to carry other Logitech devices: keep it in the port. There is no Bluetooth, so the set cannot be paired to a tablet or a phone and will not work in the BIOS before the operating system loads. There is no backlight and no palm rest. Logitech lists Windows 7/8/10 or later and Chrome OS — macOS is not listed. Quiet does not mean silent: you can still hear it in a completely silent room, just not from the next desk.

✓ Shared rooms, studios and home offices with other people in them
✓ Video calls and recording spaces where the keyboard reaches the microphone
✓ Night working next to someone who is asleep
✓ Libraries, clinics and quiet reception areas
✓ Anyone who types hard and knows it
Key Features
Over 90% less noise, measured
SilentTouch is Logitech’s own quiet-key technology — the keys and the mouse buttons are both damped, so the whole set goes quiet, not just half of it.
Full size, nothing removed
A numeric pad and eight hotkeys are still there: the quiet costs you nothing in layout.
One receiver for both
A single 2.4 GHz dongle covers the keyboard and the mouse with about 10 m of range.
Batteries you forget about
Up to 36 months for the keyboard and 18 for the mouse, on cells Logitech includes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is it actually silent?
It is over 90% quieter than an ordinary set, which in practice means the person at the next desk stops hearing it. In a completely silent room you will still hear yourself type.
Can I replace the receiver?
Not with a Unifying dongle — Logitech lists a non-Unifying receiver for this set. Keep it in the USB port.
Does it work on a Mac?
Logitech lists Windows and Chrome OS only. It will type over standard HID but the hotkeys are not supported on macOS.
Which colour and layout is this part number?
This one is Graphite in UK English. Logitech publishes Graphite and Off-white in UK, English International, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Swiss, Belgian, Czech, Hungarian and Nordic layouts under separate part numbers.
