Logitech MK540 ADVANCED — Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo, Czech / Slovak, Black
Unifying receiver8 shortcut keysSpill-resistant1000 dpi mouse
The Logitech MK540 ADVANCED (920-008688) is the office combo that gets bought by the dozen and then forgotten about, which is exactly the compliment it deserves. The K540 keyboard is full size with a numeric pad, adjustable tilt legs, eight shortcut keys for volume, media and applications, and a spill-resistant construction that survives the coffee that eventually arrives. The M310 mouse is a contoured, right-hand shape with 1000 dpi optical tracking and a soft rubber grip — a full-hand mouse rather than a travel one. Both run through a single Logitech Unifying receiver, so one dongle covers the pair. The keyboard measures 442 × 149 × 20.5 mm and weighs 550 g; the mouse is 105 × 68 × 39 mm and 100 g without its battery. In the box: keyboard, mouse, Unifying receiver, batteries and documentation.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Layout: Czech / Slovak QWERTZ swaps Y and Z and puts accented letters on the number row, so digits need Shift, and most symbols move compared with a US or UK keyboard. Choose it only if you type in Czech or Slovak; for English use in Cyprus ask us for the US or UK version of the same model. Both devices connect through the supplied Unifying receiver, which needs a free USB-A port — a USB-C-only laptop needs an adapter or a dock. There is no Bluetooth: this set cannot be paired directly to a tablet or a phone. There is no backlight and no palm rest — if you want wrist support built in, the MK545 ADVANCED is the same idea with an attached rest. The mouse is a right-hand shape, so it does not suit a left-handed user. Logitech lists Windows, macOS and Chrome OS; the keys are labelled for Windows and Logitech Options is an optional download.
Best For
✓ Offices buying keyboard and mouse sets in quantity
✓ Home desks that need a reliable, unfussy wireless set
✓ Replacing an ageing cabled keyboard and mouse in one purchase
✓ Reception desks and shared workstations
✓ Anywhere a spilled drink is a realistic risk
✓ Sites already standardised on Logitech Unifying
Key Features
One receiver for the pair
Unifying pairs both devices to a single USB-A dongle and can take further Unifying devices later without another port.
Spill-resistant keyboard
The K540 is built to survive a knocked-over drink — the failure that ends most office keyboards.
Eight shortcut keys
Volume, playback and application shortcuts on dedicated keys rather than hidden behind an Fn combination.
A mouse for a whole hand
The M310 is a contoured, full-size shape with a soft grip and 1000 dpi tracking — comfortable for a working day rather than a laptop bag.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a palm rest?
No. For an attached palm rest choose the MK545 ADVANCED, which is otherwise the same idea.
Can I pair it with a tablet?
No. There is no Bluetooth on this set — it works only through the Unifying receiver in a USB-A port.
Is the mouse suitable for left-handed use?
No, the M310 is a right-hand contoured shape. Ask us and we will suggest an ambidextrous or left-handed wireless mouse.
Which layout is this part number?
This one is Czech / Slovak. Logitech builds the MK540 in several national layouts under separate part numbers.
Singular Expert Insight
The MK540 is our default recommendation for offices replacing wired sets: nothing exotic, spill-resistant, and one dongle per desk. If wrist support is the priority step up to the MK545; if you need Bluetooth for a tablet as well, ask us for a Bluetooth set. See our
