Logitech M720 Triathlon Multi-Device Mouse — Black
Easy-Switch: 3 devicesBluetooth + Unifying receiverHyper-fast scroll wheel24 months on 1× AA
The Logitech M720 Triathlon (910-004791, black) is a full-size right-handed mouse built for people who work across three computers: pair each over Bluetooth Low Energy or the included Unifying USB receiver and tap the Easy-Switch button to jump between them. Logitech publishes a 1000 DPI optical sensor, eight controls including a hidden thumb button and a tilt wheel with dual-mode hyper-fast scrolling, and a battery life of 24 months from the single AA in the box. With Logi Options+ and Logitech Flow it can even move the cursor and files between computers.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The Unifying receiver is USB-A and is not Logi Bolt — it pairs with up to six Unifying devices but not with Bolt-only keyboards. USB-C-only laptops use Bluetooth or an adapter. Right-handed contoured shape with a thumb rest; Logitech publishes no hand-size guide. The support page lists Windows 10/11, macOS, ChromeOS, Linux, Android and iPadOS. Logitech’s product page mentions adjustable DPI via Options+, while the specification page lists 1000 DPI — treat 1000 as the nominal figure.
Best For
✓ Working across a laptop, a desktop and a tablet with one mouse
✓ Long documents and spreadsheets with hyper-fast free-spin scrolling
✓ Users who want two years of AA battery rather than charging
✓ Palm grip and medium to large hands
✓ Logitech Flow users who copy files between two PCs
✓ Mixed Windows and macOS desks
Key Features
Three computers, one button
Easy-Switch stores three connections over Bluetooth or the Unifying receiver; press the button under the wheel to switch. With Logitech Flow the cursor crosses between screens automatically.
Hyper-fast scrolling
A dual-mode wheel toggles between ratchet steps and free spin that flies through hundreds of pages; tilt left and right for horizontal scrolling.
Eight controls, 24 months
Left, right, wheel click, tilt, forward, back, a hidden thumb gesture button and Easy-Switch, all remappable in Logi Options+. One AA runs for 24 months by Logitech’s figure.

Singular Expert Insight
The M720 Triathlon remains the most practical three-device mouse in our wireless mice for someone who does not want to charge: two years on an AA, free-spin scrolling and a thumb button that the cheaper Trust Ozaa+ lacks. Its age shows in the Unifying receiver and 1000 DPI ceiling; the Logitech Lift moves to Logi Bolt with a vertical shape, and the Dell MS7421W is the rechargeable 4000 DPI option. On a USB-C laptop pair over Bluetooth or add one of our docking stations.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You work across three computers, want free-spin scrolling and a thumb button, and prefer a two-year AA battery to charging.
Skip it if
You need a Logi Bolt receiver, high DPI, a rechargeable battery or a left-handed shape.
Also consider
Logitech Signature M650 for Business (Bolt, silent clicks) or Dell MS7421W (rechargeable, 4000 DPI, 3-year warranty).
