Logitech Zone Wired 2 for Business — Teams USB-C Headset with Adaptive Hybrid ANC
Adaptive hybrid ANCTransparency modeTeams Premium Microphone for Open OfficeUSB-C with USB-A adapter
The Logitech Zone Wired 2 for Business is the corded headset Logitech built once it accepted that open offices are loud, and part number 981-001615 is the Microsoft Teams version in graphite for EMEA. It adds adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation with five selectable states, including a transparency mode that lets the room back in when someone comes to your desk. Custom 40 mm drivers cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz, two AI-processed microphones meet the Microsoft Teams premium microphone requirement for open offices, and the controls moved onto the ear cup so you are not hunting for an inline pod.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the Teams build and the EMEA part number. If your office standardises on Zoom or Webex rather than Teams, the matching EMEA UC part is 981-001618; 981-001608 is the same device as a US order code. It is also a corded headset — there is no dongle, no battery and no wireless mode, so if someone expects to walk away from the desk this is the wrong product line and Zone Wireless is the right one. The plug is USB-C with a USB-A adapter supplied, so both port types are covered. Tell us your platform and we will confirm the part before you order.
Best For
✓ Open-plan offices loud enough that passive isolation is not enough
✓ Microsoft Teams estates that want the certified premium microphone
✓ Focus work interrupted by colleagues, where transparency mode helps
✓ Fleets managed centrally through Logitech Sync
✓ Desks that mix USB-C laptops and USB-A docks
✓ Users who want ANC without a battery to charge
Key Features
Adaptive hybrid ANC with five states
High, low, adaptive, transparency on and all off. Adaptive reads the room and adjusts; transparency lets conversation through without pulling the headset off. That range of control is unusual on a corded headset.
A microphone Microsoft certified for open offices
Two noise-cancelling microphones with an AI-based algorithm, meeting the Microsoft Teams Premium Microphone for Open Office requirement. The boom flips up to mute, so the mute state is visible rather than guessed.
Custom drivers tuned for both jobs
Custom 40 mm drivers covering 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with sensitivity at 97 ±3 dB at 1 kHz. Wide enough for music between calls, which matters when a headset is worn for eight hours.
Managed, updated and hearing-aid compatible
Logitech Sync handles fleet inventory and silent firmware updates, Logi Tune handles user settings, and the headset is hearing-aid compatible under ADA. Windows, macOS and Chrome OS are all supported.

Singular Expert Insight
Corded headsets with real adaptive ANC are rarer than you would think, and that is the reason to buy this one: you get the noise cancellation of a premium wireless model with none of the battery management, because the USB cable powers it. The five-state control is the part people end up using most — adaptive for concentration, transparency for the thirty seconds when someone stops at your desk. Two ordering traps are worth repeating. The name is almost identical to the original Zone Wired (981-000875), which has no ANC whatsoever, so read the part number rather than the name. And the regional codes matter: 981-001615 is EMEA Teams, 981-001618 is EMEA UC and 981-001608 is the US Teams code. See how it compares in our office and VoIP headsets range, or the headphones range if it is going to double as a music headset.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
Your office is loud, you run Microsoft Teams, and you want adaptive ANC plus a transparency mode without a battery to manage. 40 mm drivers, a Teams-certified open-office microphone, ear-cup controls and a USB-A adapter in the box.
Skip it if
You need to move around during calls — this is corded, with no dongle and no wireless mode. Skip it too if your platform is Zoom or Webex, where the EMEA UC part 981-001618 is the right order.
Also consider
The original Zone Wired 981-000875 if you do not need ANC and want to spend less, the EMEA UC build 981-001618 for non-Teams offices, or the Poly Voyager 4320 if wireless matters more than ANC.
