The Longshine LCS-8337TXR2 is a PCI Express x1 network card that adds one 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 port to a desktop PC or server, using the Realtek RTL8111H controller. It suits offices and home users who need to replace a failed onboard LAN, add a second network port, or bring an older 100 Mbps machine up to Gigabit.

The card is compact (65 x 41 mm) and draws power from the slot, so installation is a matter of opening the case, fitting the card and loading the Realtek driver. Longshine lists Windows 7, 8, 10 and 11 in 32 and 64-bit, plus Linux kernel 4.x and later, which covers practically every desktop still in use. The RTL8111 family is one of the most common Gigabit controllers in the world, so drivers are easy to find and many Linux distributions load them automatically.
