MAUL Magnetic Strip 5 mm × 1 m — Set of 2, Green
2 × 1 m strips5 mm wideCut to lengthGreen
The MAUL magnetic strip 6520155 is a set of two flexible green magnetic strips, each 5 mm wide and 1 metre long, for marking lines, grids and sections on magnetic whiteboards and steel planning boards.
Each strip is a magnetic tape with a green coloured face on one side. You cut it to the length you need with ordinary scissors, place it on the board and move it again whenever the layout changes — no adhesive, no residue. MAUL states that the strips can be written on with felt-tip pens and markers, so a strip can also carry a short label.
Before you order: The strips hold only on magnetic surfaces (steel whiteboards, steel planning boards, metal cabinets). They do not stick to glass boards, cork, wood, aluminium or painted walls, and they are not self-adhesive.
What's in the Box
- 2 × MAUL magnetic strip, green, each 5 mm × 1000 mm × 1 mm
- Supplied in film packaging
- No mounting material or markers included
What It Means in Practice
- Two metres of line in total — enough to divide a typical office whiteboard into columns or a simple week planner.
- Cut pieces stay usable: short offcuts work as markers or dividers elsewhere on the board.
- At 5 mm wide and 1 mm thick the line is clearly visible from across a meeting room but does not get in the way of the marker.
- Because the strip is magnetic, not glued, you can rearrange a Kanban or shift board in seconds.
What Will Not Work
- It will not hold on non-magnetic surfaces such as glass boards, aluminium frames, cork or walls.
- It is not self-adhesive — there is no sticky back to fix it permanently.
- It is not a holding magnet for paper: at this width it is designed as a line, not to pin documents.
- MAUL does not publish a holding force, so do not rely on it on vertical surfaces that are vibrated or knocked often.
