MAUL 7690890 Office Scissors · 21.4 cm (8.5") · Black
Office scissors21.4 cmStainless steelSoft grip
The MAUL 7690890 is a pair of 21.4 cm (8.5 inch) office scissors with rustproof stainless steel blades and a black handle with a rubberised grip zone. It is the full-size, everyday scissors for paper, card, envelopes, tape and packaging in offices, workshops and homes.
At 8.5 inches it sits in the middle of the MAUL range: long enough for straight cuts across A4, but still easy to handle at a desk. It comes in plastic-free cardboard packaging with a Euro hanging hole.
Before you order: MAUL does not state whether the handles are symmetrical or for right- or left-handed use. If you need dedicated left-handed scissors, ask us first.
What's in the Box
- 1 x MAUL scissors, 21.4 cm (8.5"), black
- Cardboard packaging with Euro hanging hole
What It Means in Practice
- Rustproof stainless steel blades keep cutting cleanly after contact with tape glue or moisture.
- The rubberised grip zone is more comfortable for repeated cutting than a hard plastic handle.
- 21.4 cm is a good all-round length for office paperwork and parcel opening.
- MAUL also makes the same design in 5.9", 7.1" and 10.2" if you need a smaller or larger size.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a paper trimmer: for perfectly straight cuts on stacks of paper use a guillotine or trimmer.
- It is not designed for metal, wire or thick plastic; these will damage the blades.
- MAUL does not publish handedness, so it should not be bought as dedicated left-handed scissors.
- MAUL does not state that it is dishwasher-safe; clean by wiping.
