SE4770 2D imagerWi-Fi 6E6GB / 128GBIP65 / IP68
The Zebra MC9400 (MC9401-0G1J6DSS-A6) is a rugged gun-grip mobile computer running Android, configured with the SE4770 2D imager, 6GB RAM / 128GB storage and Wi-Fi 6E (WLAN only, no SIM) — built for warehouses, distribution centres and goods-in docks where operators scan for the whole shift.
This is the standard-temperature gun version with a 53-key alphanumeric keypad. It has a 4.3" WVGA 800 x 480 capacitive touch, Gorilla Glass display, Qualcomm 4490 octa-core 2.4 GHz and a 7000 mAh PowerPrecision+ battery with hot swap, and is rated IP65/IP68 with 3.66 m drop resistance.
Before you order: Charging accessories (cradle, cable or power supply) are not in the box. The Zebra MC9400 is sold in several versions — this one (MC9401-0G1J6DSS-A6) has the SE4770 engine, 6GB/128GB and Wi-Fi only; double-check before ordering a different code.
What's in the Box

- 7000 mAh PowerPrecision+ battery

What It Means in Practice
- The SE4770 imager reads 1D/2D codes from close up to about 60 cm and copes with direct sunlight and damaged labels — good for yards, loading docks and delivery.
- WLAN-only: the device works on your Wi-Fi network and has no SIM slot, so there is no mobile data plan to pay.
- Battery: 7000 mAh hot-swap battery for long shifts, changed without powering down.
- Zebra Mobility DNA tools and Android Enterprise let IT stage, lock down and update the fleet with an MDM.
What Will Not Work
- No cellular connection: it cannot use a SIM card or mobile data.
- No charger, cradle or USB power supply in the box — order the matching charging accessory separately.
- Not a long-range scanner: for pallet labels on high racks choose an extended/advanced-range version.
- Not the cold-storage version — no heated scan window for freezer use.
