M-CAB Premium Line 6-Way Power Strip PROTECT — 3 m, Black
6 × Schuko · 45°Surge + overload protectionIlluminated switch3 m · 3680 W
The M-CAB Premium Line POW0026 is a 6-way Schuko power strip with overvoltage (surge) and overload protection, an illuminated on/off switch and a 3 m H05VV-F 3G1.5 cable, rated 16 A / 3680 W at 250 V, for workstations and AV setups with several devices that deserve more than a plain strip.
The six sockets are rotated 45° with touch protection, the plug is a 90° angled Schuko CEE 7/7, and two illuminated safety LEDs show the protection status. M-CAB describes integrated temperature and overvoltage protection, including lightning and ESD protection, in an impact-resistant black housing.
Before you order: The sockets and plug are German Schuko type. Cyprus wall outlets are UK-style (BS 1363), so plug it into a Schuko wall socket or a suitable adapter — through a fused 13 A UK adapter the practical limit is about 3000 W, not 3680 W.
What's in the Box
- 1 × M-CAB Premium Line 6-way power strip POW0026 with 3 m cable (retail box)
What It Means in Practice
- All six sockets share 16 A / 3680 W in total — plenty for a PC, monitors, printer and audio, but keep heaters and kettles off a protected electronics strip.
- The 3 m cable reaches outlets across a room or behind a cabinet without a second extension.
- The safety LEDs show the protection status — if they go out, the protection has been used up and the strip should be replaced.
- 45° sockets accept angled plugs without blocking neighbours.
What Will Not Work
- Power cuts — it does not keep anything running; for backup you need a UPS.
- UK 3-pin (BS 1363) plugs — the sockets are Schuko.
- Outdoor or damp use — indoor only.
- Per-socket switching — one switch controls all six sockets.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
Six protected sockets on a 3 m cable cover most desks and TV walls in one go. If you want published surge ratings and an equipment warranty, compare it with the Eaton PS6D in our power extension range.
✓ Buy it if you need six sockets with built-in surge and overload protection and a long 3 m cable.
✕ Skip it if you need per-socket switches, published surge ratings or backup power.
→ Also consider Eaton Protection Strip PS6D (rated 3-line surge protection with breaker).
