MediaRange MR937 — 64 GB Combo Drive with a USB-A End and a USB-C End
USB-A + USB-C64 GB60 MB/s read / 15 MB/s writeAluminium, 10 g
The MediaRange MR937 is a 64 GB USB 3.2 Gen 1 flash drive with a full-size USB-A plug at one end and a USB-C plug at the other, so the same stick moves files between an older laptop and a modern phone, tablet or USB-C-only notebook without an adapter. MediaRange rates this article at up to 60 MB/s read and up to 15 MB/s write. The housing is aluminium, it weighs about 10 g, and each plug is covered by a push-on cap.
Compatibility — check before buying:
???? MediaRange sells two 64 GB combo drives under exactly the same product name, and this is the slower one. MR937, this article, is published at 60 MB/s read and 15 MB/s write. MR937-1 is published at 100 MB/s read and 40 MB/s write — same 64 GB, same silver aluminium body, same 18 x 8 x 61 mm dimensions, same everything except the suffix and the EAN. Nothing on the outside distinguishes them. If you have seen a MediaRange combo drive quoted around 100 MB/s, that figure belongs to the other article. The EAN is the only reliable arbiter: this one is 4260459614197. Note also that the 128 GB versions do not follow the same numbers — MR938 is 80/20 and MR938-1 is 200/150 — so do not carry any figure across capacities either. Beyond that: the USB-C end needs a device that accepts USB storage, which recent Android phones and tablets, USB-C iPads and Macs do but a Lightning iPhone does not, and both caps are fully removable with nothing tethering them to the body.
Best For
✓ Moving files between a laptop with USB-A and a phone or tablet with USB-C
✓ Android phone and tablet owners who want more room without paying for cloud storage
✓ Carrying documents, photos and installers between home and the office
✓ Anyone tired of hunting for a USB-C adapter to hand a file over
✓ A modest capacity where 60 MB/s read is comfortably fast enough
✓ Handing a file to a colleague whose laptop has only USB-C ports
Key Features
Two plugs, one stick
A full-size USB-A connector at one end, a USB-C connector at the other. Copy a file off a desktop PC and hand it straight to a phone, tablet or USB-C-only laptop with nothing else in your pocket.
Both speeds published
MediaRange states read and write separately for this exact article, which most flash brands do not. 60 and 15 are honest mid-range figures rather than a marketing headline.
Aluminium body at 10 g
Roughly 18 x 8 x 61 mm of metal shell weighing about 10 g. Light enough to forget in a pocket, rigid enough that it will not flex against a laptop port in a bag.
Works with Android
MediaRange lists Android alongside Windows, macOS and Linux for this article — not every combo drive maker commits to that.

Singular Expert Insight
A dual-ended aluminium drive at this price is easy to recommend, and MediaRange is unusual in publishing both read and write rather than a single flattering number. The reason this page opens with a warning is that MediaRange also sells an identically named, identically shaped 64 GB combo drive that is nearly twice as fast — MR937-1 — and nothing but the article number tells them apart. That is a real risk when a supplier quotes you “MediaRange combo 64GB” and nothing more. If you want the faster one, ask for it by number. Within our USB flash drives range there are quicker dual-ended drives from Kingston and Silicon Power if speed is the priority, and for regularly moving large folders an external SSD is the right class of product.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You move files between USB-A and USB-C devices and want one stick that fits both, 64 GB is the right size, and 60 MB/s read covers documents, photos and video playback.
Skip it if
You copy large archives onto the drive often — 15 MB/s write is slow for that. You need a keyring loop or caps that cannot be lost. Or you were expecting 100 MB/s, which belongs to MR937-1.
Also consider
MediaRange MR937-1 for the same drive at 100/40. MediaRange MR938 for 128 GB at 80/20. Kingston DataTraveler microDuo 3C G3 for a dual-ended drive at 200 MB/s read.
